Five options: A. / A) / (A) / [A] / A text; 1–5; or five bullet lines. Lettered options can be lowercase.
Correct answers: ✅ / ✓ / ✔ / (correct) / [correct] on an option, or an Answer, Correct answer, Ans, or Key line. Keys can be letters, 1–5, or the exact option text.
Question: Which number is prime? - 4 - 6 - 7 ✓ - 8 - 9 Reason: 7 has exactly two positive divisors.
Explanation, Rationale, Reason, Reasoning, and Solution labels are accepted. Markdown headings, SECTION headers, code fences and AUDIT SUMMARY footers are handled. Paired **, ___ and ~~ formatting is cleaned. Missing explanations are reported; conflicting or unclear answers block import so you can fix them.
Keep each option on its own line. This is format detection, not AI: it never guesses the right answer. Review the import preview before starting. Results show original labels for explanations that refer to options.
